A New Tool To Make Great Presentations - Prezi

I just made a presentation using Prezi for the first time and it’s a pretty cool product. For all those who still don’t know about Prezi, here’s a quick description:

About Prezi:
Prezi enables you to make exciting presentations on the Internet via the Web browser or iPad. You can create presentations online, store them and download them for offline use, with a starter account with 100 MB storage space which is available for free. The Enjoy account costs $59 (around Rs.2,600) for one year; it allows you to share the presentation with other users, even use your own logo on the presentation, and offers 500 MB storage space. The top of the line Pro account costs $159 per month, with 2 GB storage space.

What’s Good:
1.     Prezi is a great tool to make you stand apart while giving a presentation – it’ll impress the audience
2.     It’ a good change from the usual Powerpoint
3.     It’s easy to use
4.     There are sufficient help videos that will attract you towards it and explain you how to use it
5.     Response to all features and functions, in terms of speed, is great
6.  Even videos can very conveniently be added in the presentation

What’s not that good:
1.     It’s a tool that’s only best used online [hate that because many a time you’ll go for a client meeting who wont be giving you wi-fi access over security concerns – unless you carry a data card of coarse]
2.     While presenting over Prezi, you will need a person to maneuver the movement, while you’ll be explaining the deck
3.     Suggestion: Would love to see Prezi made platform agnostic
