Logitech to Lure More Gamers with New G400 Optical Gaming Mouse

Logitech, the global provider of peripherals for computers, smartphones & tablets, yesterday announced an addition to its gaming series products - the Optical Gaming Mouse G400. The product is positioned for gaming enthusiasts as the G400 gives users the precision and control they need to work smarter and play better.

As per Mr. Subrotah Biswas, Country Manager of Logitech India and South West Asia, “The G400 is yet another example of the seamless integration of our world-class product design and technology. It is specifically engineered for people who prefer to work smarter and play better as every feature is designed to offer the precision you need for complete control.”

What’s great about this product?

· I am yet to look at the G400 in person, but it supposedly features a 3600 dpi optical sensor, which provides precise tracking and accurate navigation.

· The sensitivity switching lets users switch among four separate dpi levels – from 400 to 3600 – depending on the responsiveness they need.

· The mouse also communicates over USB at a blazing-fast 1000 reports per second – giving users nearly instantaneous response and super-smooth movement.

· Users are said to get consistent tracking at any hand speed, with a steady response ratio.

From the pictures, I like the shape of the mouse as it seems quite ergonomic. On a lighter note, the side angle pictures of the G400 are very reminiscent to the Honda Brio!

Logitech G400 V.s. Honda Brio. Is it just me or are there similarities? Not just with the overall shape, but with both of their cheek bones too!

Pricing and Availability

The Logitech Optical Gaming Mouse G400 has hit the Indian markets since July 2012 for a suggested retail price of INR 2095/-.
